Health coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you achieve lasting, sustainable changes in your health and well-being. As your health coach, I bring expertise in facilitating this journey, while you bring the invaluable knowledge of your own life and circumstances. Together, our goal is to guide you toward your best health and wellness.
Coaching is centered on your strengths and core values, empowering you to discover unique solutions tailored to your needs. It supports you in your journey of change by recognizing and connecting you to your motivations and inner wisdom, while also providing the level of accountability you desire.
A health coach is more than just a guide—I'm your wellness partner, mentor, and advocate, dedicated to helping you reach your highest potential in health and happiness. My role involves working with diet, nutrition, lifestyle, and other holistic practices that promote balance between mind and body. The beauty of health coaching lies in its flexibility—there’s no limit to what we can achieve together on your journey to optimal well-being.
What is a Health & Wellness Coach?
As a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach, I am trained to support and guide you on your journey to better health and well-being. My certification ensures that I meet the highest standards in the industry, recognized for my expertise in motivational interviewing, behavior change, and wellness planning. The certification process is rigorous, requiring extensive training and a thorough understanding of health and wellness principles. This training equips me to help you identify and achieve your health goals by focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes. In addition to my National Board certification, I have specialized training from the ADAPT Academy, a program founded by Chris Kresser. This program provides a solid foundation in functional medicine, an approach that seeks to address the root causes of illness rather than just the symptoms. While a health coach does not diagnose or treat illness, my training allows me to work collaboratively with functional medicine practitioners to help you implement personalized health strategies.
While a health coach is not trained to diagnose or treat illness, a functional health coach can work alongside a functional medicine practitioner to aid clients in implementing recommended lifestyle strategies for treating and preventing illness and disease.
